I am Susan Wevley Asplund (artist and owner). I learned how to make stained glass art using the copper foil method from taking a community class in 1997 and have learned a lot over the years. Although I grew up in Minnesota, I made Montana my home in 1999. I truly find Montana and the people here inspiring which I pour into my glass art. Hence the name Montana Inspirations “Stained Glass Art from the Heart!”
I have fun making my pieces more unique by adding solder detail to the solder seams or curly wire for a bit of whimsy and I have even used glass dishes and stone in some of my pieces too! I enjoy working with customers on making their visions of glass art for their home or a special gift come to fruition, as well.
